A complete 'out of the box' multiplex solution. The head-end equipment (including the multiplex server) is installed at your transmission site. A DAB/DAB+ encoder is provided for each of your client radio station locations so that audio is encoded at source to maintain the highest quality. The use of broadband as the transport mechanism for the encoded audio ensures that operating costs are kept to a minimum whilst maintaining resilience.

A completely managed 'DAB as a service' solution where your multiplex server and DAB/DAB+ encoders are co-located in our data centre. From here the blended multiplexed stream is sent directly to your head-end equipment at the transmission site using a Virtual Private Network. The use of a cloud ensures that your equipment benefits from our 24-hour on-site system management and technical support.

Viamux provided the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI) and the Irish state broadcaster RTÉ with an innovative trial DAB+ radio network, broadcasting every station on the Irish Radioplayer. Located in Dublin, the system employs two DAB+ multiplexes which carry all 36 of Ireland’s commercial radio stations along with RTÉ’s nine services.
